We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshall to join a busy construction site in Cambridge. This is a key site support role, responsible for managing vehicle movements, controlling site access and ensuring the safety of operatives, visitors and deliveries entering and leaving site.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the safe movement of vehicles on and around site.
  • Directing deliveries and site traffic.
  • Controlling access and egress at the site entrance.
  • Monitoring visitors and ensuring site procedures are followed.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for pedestrians and vehicle operators.
  • Assisting site management with general site duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal card or NPORS A73 Traffic Marshal with CSCS logo.
  • Previous experience in a Traffic Marshal or Gateman role.
  • Strong awareness of site health and safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a site team.

Please note: Separate NPORS and CSCS cards will not be accepted. Candidates must hold either a valid CPCS A73 card or NPORS A73 card displaying the CSCS logo.
