About the Role
- As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of both pre- and post-contract responsibilities, ensuring accurate cost control, robust commercial management and successful project delivery.
- Manage high-value projects independently.
- Oversee cost monitoring, CVRs, and monthly reporting.
- Manage subcontractors—financially and contractually.
- Conduct site visits, attend progress meetings and ensure commercial compliance.
- Support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and project profitability.
- Handle final accounts and protect the company’s commercial interests.
About You
- We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with the drive to succeed and the confidence to lead.
- Experience working with a main contractor.
- Strong background in design & build projects.
- HNC, degree, or equivalent qualification in construction / Quantity Surveying.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (and ideally Project).
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Experience resolving disputes and completing final accounts.
