Help deliver one of the South West's most significant civil engineering projects. I'm working with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a landmark infrastructure project in Bridgwater. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established and highly respected business delivering a major long-term scheme that will leave a lasting legacy across the region.

Working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of the project, taking ownership of significant work packages while helping to drive commercial performance from procurement through to final account.

The Role

  • Commercial management of major civil engineering and infrastructure works.
  • Administration of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors.
  • Cost reporting, forecasting, valuations and CVRs.
  • Management of compensation events and change control.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, operational teams and the supply chain.
  • Supporting the successful commercial delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project.

About You

  • Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
  • Experience managing subcontract accounts from procurement through to final account.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a passion for delivering successful projects.
