We are seeking an Assistant Independent Living Partner to support residents within Independent Living schemes across the Bordon area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong customer service and housing experience who is passionate about promoting independence, wellbeing and community engagement for older people.
The Role
As the first point of contact for residents, you will provide housing management support, welfare checks and scheme management services, helping customers maintain their independence and feel safe within their homes and communities. This is a lone-working role requiring excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver housing and tenancy management services within Independent Living schemes.
- Provide welfare contact and support to residents.
- Identify support needs and make referrals to appropriate internal and external services.
- Manage social alarm systems and respond appropriately to customer needs.
- Complete health and safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Support resident engagement and community activities.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems.
- Provide cover across the region when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You'll have:
- Experience working with older people or vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of housing, tenancy or support-related services.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
