We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Administrator Assistant to support the Practice Administrator, Practice Manager, and wider team within a busy and professional office environment. Working for a well-established practice focused on innovative design, they work within the construction industry on a range of projects from healthcare, commercial space, residential, and commercial projects. They create thoughtful spaces that inspire people, strengthen communities, and leave a lasting impact.
Duties Will Include:
- Welcoming visitors and managing reception duties
- Directing phone calls and coordinating meeting room bookings
- Supporting the organisation of internal and external CPD events and practice updates
- Maintaining staff training records and annual leave calendars
- Coordinating work experience placements and schedules
- Providing project administration support including typing reports, agendas, minutes, letters, and specification documents
- Ordering office and contract stationery
- Supporting directors and staff with general administration
- Monitoring and managing the company accounts inbox
- Assisting with the organisation of social events & office activities
- Ensuring meeting rooms and conference areas are prepared and maintained
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within an administration, office support, or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable, approachable, and willing to take ownership of tasks
