An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a dynamic and friendly consultancy in Bath. This role would suit an Engineer or Senior Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and drainage design, alongside proven client-facing and project leadership experience. You will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the life sciences, residential, industrial, and commercial sectors, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

The Role

As part of a talented and collaborative civils team, you will take ownership of projects from inception through to delivery, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the strategic development of the office.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent)
  • Strong consultancy experience delivering infrastructure and drainage design projects
  • Previous experience managing projects and/or teams
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ambitious and commercially aware, with a desire to help grow the business and lead projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands on Civil/Drainage design on a mixture of projects
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and regional offices across the business
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development
