A forward-thinking, employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to help lead and grow their Birmingham infrastructure team.
This role suits a senior-level engineer who’s confident managing multiple schemes, building client relationships, and steering a small team through planning, design and technical approval stages.
Where you’ll make an impact:
- Leading multiple residential infrastructure projects simultaneously
- Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring quality across the team
- Managing project budgets, fees and invoicing
- Developing and reviewing drainage designs, highway layouts, levels and earthworks
- Preparing planning and technical submissions (S38/S278/S104)
- Guiding, mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Acting as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
- Proven senior/associate-level background in development infrastructure
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, PDS and Flow
