Commercial Administrator Temporary Holiday cover 27th October 2025 for 3 weeks Plymouth About Us A dynamic and growing construction / property-development company committed to delivering high-quality residential projects across the South West are looking for an Adminisrator to be part of our their commercial team. This is a temporary role where you’ll support key functions that keep thier subcontractors, sales extras and agency workers running smoothly. The Role You will step in as the Commercial Administrator to cover holiday absence, ensuring continuity of service across several commercial and administrative processes. In this role you will: Receive and log all subcontractor invoices arriving via email; allocate them to the correct Team folder for the relevant Quantity Surveyor. Raise subcontract orders and ensure documentation is correctly filed. Log and redact Sales Extras / Finishing Touches documentation, then issue them to trades in a timely manner. Work with the Sales team and Quantity Surveyors Liaise with our agency providers: monitor deployment of agency workers, obtain internal authorisation and prepare orders or contracts Provide reception cover as and when required . Carry out other administrative duties to include spreadsheets, scanning/filing, general office support. What We’re Looking For You will be a confident administrator with strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and keep track of multiple tasks in a busy environment. Specifically: Proven experience in an administrative or commercial support environment, preferably working with invoices, orders or agency / subcontractor processes. Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills — able to liaise with Sales, QS, agency providers, trades and other stakeholders. Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel and Outlook) and familiarity with shared drive / Teams folder systems.
