RGB Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-established regional M & E contracting company who have earned a great reputation and work on varied schemes across the South West. Due to an increase in workload having won a number of new projects in the Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Electrical Contracts Manager to lead their Cornwall based work and team.

The Role

  • Working for a range of clients and main contractors, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of multiple projects with contract values of up to £3m which include new build and refurbishment schemes.
  • Contracts managing up to 4 schemes at any one time.
  • Working with clients and project teams to understand and develop the project brief.
  • Oversee the management and development of staff.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to oversee project budgets, procurement, and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and support on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction at every stage.
  • Attend progress meetings and report on project performance.

The Person

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the building services or construction sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and design principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/HND).
  • Full UK driving licence.
