Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a close-knit building services consultancy known for delivering a wide range of exciting projects across new builds and refurbishments in all types of buildings. What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll be a key part of the engineering team, bringing your technical know-how and leadership to a range of UK-based building services projects.
• You should be confident working across RIBA stages and managing the full project life cycle—from initial surveys to site inspections and project completion.
• Leading mechanical services design on a wide range of projects.
• Liaising directly with clients and external teams (architects, structural engineers, contractors, surveyors).
• Preparing project documentation, reports and specifications.
• Overseeing installation, commissioning, and contractor supervision.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Supporting junior team members in their technical and professional development.
• Contributing to sustainable design solutions and compliance with legislation and H&S requirements.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering (senior level).
• Strong track record delivering UK projects.
• Familiarity with RIBA work stages and associated duties.
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Able to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively.
