A new opportunity has arisen for a project coordinator to join a privately owned construction services business in Mid Devon. Joining a friendly and relaxed team you will be welcomed into a company who has built up an excellent reputation in the local area, through word and mouth without the need to advertise their services, which speaks volumes!
As a project coordinator it is key you are experienced within a similar role, with strong IT skills, and excellent administration experience. You will be a highly organised and diligent individual who is able to work to deadlines and prioritise work load, whilst dealing with customers and internal teams to coordinator and action tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Summary of day to day duties:
- Monitoring progress of projects on a daily/weekly and monthly basis
- Providing detailed updates to project managers and other responsible parties when required, including clients.
- Coordinating all project team members so work flow remains on schedule, in liaison with project manager
- Complete the following processes to ensure the business runs as smoothly as possible:
- New enquiry registration and notification to the team
- Compilation of quotes using information provided by project managers
- Quote acceptance process
- Instructing and co-ordinate external consultants reports
- Weekly checks process
- Update clients on a 2 weekly basis
- Decision/approval process
- Ensure all documentation, files and folders are up to date
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Assist with the resolution of customer complaints in a professional manner, ideally at the earliest opportunity
- – Assist with review of work processes and procedures when required
Experience and skills required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Previous office/administration experience
- Problem Solving ability
- Good working knowledge and experience of word/excel/sharepoint/database maintenance
- Proficient in use of digital tools and IT
- The ideal candidate will have worked for a construction related firm previously, this is by no means essential.
- Willingness to work within a dynamic and often fast-paced working environment
Salary will depend on experience and range from £25,000 – £27,000 PA, plus generous holiday, pension, bonus and parking permit.
