Pre-Construction Manager required to manage a team working across the Southwest on a variety of clean water projects. The role will involve spearheading the preconstruction program to facilitate the timely and effective delivery of the clean water initiative.

About the Role

As the Pre-Construction Manager you’ll be responsible for planning and preparing for the various water projects across the South West. This role involves managing budgets, developing construction schedules, and overseeing the pre-construction phase, including design, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the client partnership to shape the program
  • Establish budgets and identify optimization opportunities for project delivery
  • Developing and managing the pre-construction program
  • Establishing and managing project budgets
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and design teams
  • Developing and managing procurement strategies and engaging with subcontractors
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the pre-construction phase
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project governance processes
  • Coordinating and leading the pre-construction team, providing guidance and support

Qualifications

As the Pre-Construction Manager you’ll be responsible for planning and preparing for the various water projects across the South West so it’s essential that you have previous experience of working with the water sector for a main contractor.
