Are you a graduate structural engineer looking for a design role with a non-corporate medium size consultancy, bolstering their Cardiff team? RGB Recruitment are working with a multi-award winning civil and structural engineering practice with a substantial share of the local market. This practice offers hybrid working and the office is not far from central Cardiff, easily accessible by car or public transport. The business has a contemporary image and has multiple offices across the country. They specialise in cutting edge projects from a variety of sectors; recent projects have included a large production facility for a nationally recognised drinks brand. They have won high profile projects critical to South Wales and are looking for experienced Graduate Engineers to take on the challenge.
We are looking for a Structural Engineer with the following responsibilities:
- Producing detailed design calculations
- Mentoring and assisting in the development of Graduates
- Liaising closely with architects and contractors as well as other design teams
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Attending design team meetings
- Visiting site and producing structural reports
This engineering consultancy has a fantastic reputation and would make a superb addition to any engineer’s CV. Candidates will ideally meet the following criteria:
- BEng/MEng degree in a relevant subject; structural engineering, civil engineering, architectural engineering
- Working toward Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE

- The ability to manage own workload
The business is offering a salary bracket for this role of £34,000 - £36,000 + package.
