An award-winning civil engineering consultancy based in Exeter is looking to recruit a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its growing development infrastructure team. The consultancy has a strong reputation across the South West. The team is involved in some of the region’s most prestigious development projects, delivering specialist development planning and infrastructure services to the property industry.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands‑on role offering exposure across all technical disciplines within the business. You’ll work on multiple projects simultaneously and be mentored by experienced Chartered Civil Engineers, gaining invaluable experience from the very start of your career.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Detailed highway and drainage design
  • 3D site modelling and plot engineering
  • Utilities and infrastructure strategies
  • Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
  • Foul and surface water drainage design
  • Infrastructure design for planning, technical approval and construction

About You

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or currently in final year), achieving or expecting a 2:1 or above
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Any experience with AutoCAD is beneficial, but not essential
