RGB Recruitment Ltd are working with a well-established and growing building services contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team in Devon, delivering projects across the South West region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering mechanical building services projects typically ranging from £1m to £8m in value across a variety of sectors.
The Role
As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion. Project responsibility will vary depending on size and complexity, typically managing between one and three projects at any one time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing mechanical building services projects across the South West
- Overseeing project delivery, programme, and resource management
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Supporting commercial performance and reporting on project progress
The Candidate
The successful candidate will come from a mechanical building services background and have experience managing medium to large MEP projects.
Requirements:
- Experience delivering mechanical building services projects
- Proven experience delivering projects in the £1m–£8m range
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Min HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering preferred (although strong industry experience will be considered in place of qualifications)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
