We’re working with a global, leading consultancy seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing Cardiff team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer ready to take on a senior technical and leadership role within a highly respected international business delivering major infrastructure and development projects.
As Principal Engineer, you’ll take a lead role in civil engineering delivery for building-led development projects, with responsibility for design, coordination, technical oversight and team leadership. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and globally, ensuring high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions across drainage, utilities, highways, interfaces and earthworks.
- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with Chartered or Incorporated status
- Strong experience delivering civil/urban development projects
- Expertise in drainage, highways, utilities and earthworks design
- Proficiency in tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
- Solid understanding of standards, including SuDS, DMRB and Building Regulations
- Proven project management and client-facing experience
