An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Revit Technician to join a Building Services (MEP) team based in Bristol. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering engineering, environmental and planning services across the UK. The Senior Revit Technician will support the delivery of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, retail, industrial, residential, education, healthcare and mixed‑use developments.
As a Senior Revit Technician, you will be responsible for producing and coordinating high‑quality Revit models and technical drawings for building services systems. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure coordinated, accurate and standards‑compliant models are delivered from concept through to project completion.
- Producing and coordinating detailed Revit MEP models and drawings
- Modelling mechanical, electrical and public health systems including HVAC, pipework, containment and plant layouts
- Supporting engineers in translating design intent into accurate BIM models
- Coordinating models across disciplines and resolving clashes using BIM tools
- Maintaining and applying BIM standards, templates and workflows
- Reviewing and checking models and drawings for accuracy and quality
- Supporting project coordination meetings and model reviews
- Assisting in mentoring and supporting junior technicians
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Revit Technician within Building Services / MEP
- Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Experience delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare or defence
- Understanding of building services systems and construction methodologies
- Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards and collaborative working practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project deadlines
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience working on defence or secure projects or eligibility for security clearance
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
