This consultancy has gone from strength to strength since its inception over 5 years ago. We are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer who has had an introduction to a design environment. A proactive approach and a solid work ethic is key.

They have developed a strong workload and an incredible client base which includes high profile individuals and their one-off bespoke builds. These sorts of projects naturally bring their own unique challenges and as such, we seek someone with a problem-solving brain. Responsibilities:
  • Producing design and analyses calculations of building structures and their various elements
  • Surveys and report writing
  • Producing structural drawings and arrangements
  • Site visits
  • Liaising and building relationships with clients, contractors and architects
  • Working through key objectives with either the ICE or IStructE with the view to achieving chartered status

You can expect to be working with all traditional materials as well as non-traditional sustainable building techniques. Projects are varied and are increasing in value as the company’s portfolio grows. The business started its life working on small domestic extensions; its workload has now grown to average project values of £10m which is an impressive feat. The main workload is made up of one-off bespoke grand designs for high net worth clients and education projects, both new build and refurbishment.   • An annual salary of £28,000-£32,000
  • 25 days holiday
