Engineering Team Leader – Specialising in Civil Engineering

Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy with two UK offices, is currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their Bristol office. This position offers a senior-level opportunity to lead technical delivery and support the continued growth of the Civil Engineering team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate Director, taking responsibility for technical leadership within the Bristol office and contributing to collaborative efforts across the consultancy’s Civil and Structural teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design and delivery of civil engineering projects
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
  • Supporting team development and contributing to resource planning
  • Ensuring high technical standards across all projects
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery
  • Residential and housing developments
  • Educational institutions

Candidate Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure, drainage, and highways design
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor technical teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Chartered status (ICE or equivalent) preferred
