My client is a property maintenance company providing a wide range of services for homeowners, landlords, and property managers, including repairs, decorating, plumbing, gas work, electrical services, cleaning, safety checks, and change-of-tenancy solutions.
They now require a Van mobile Decorator/Handyman to work across their Residential property portfolio around London within the M25 carrying out the below works on residential end of tenancy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling and priming.
- Paint walls, woodwork, and other surfaces according to customer specifications.
- Carry out basic handyman tasks such as:
- Changing light bulbs and fittings
- Replacing window handles and minor hardware
- Fixing door issues, adjusting hinges, and minor carpentry
- Basic plumbing fixes (e.g., tightening, unblocking, replacing seals)
The ideal candidate will be a qualified painter and decorator who is also very happy carrying out handyman duties above.
The Package:
- £38/42k
- 40 hour working week - 8 - 5
- Van & fuel card - business use only
- Overtime available - all paid at 1.5X overtime throughout
- 20 days + 8 bank holidays
