Salary: £47,000 – £50,000 (plus approx. £5,000 overtime)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: 99% of work within the M25 and Central London
Call-Out Rota: 1 week in 7
Overtime: Time and a half or double time, plus £150 standby allowance
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical / HIU Engineer to carry out service, maintenance and repair works across a range of commercial and residential sites within London and the M25. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical plant and Heat Interface Units (HIUs), ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing hydraulic, pumping and pipework systems
- Balancing, commissioning and managing flow control
- Maintaining pressure vessels, pressurisation units and HIUs
- Fault finding, reporting issues and recommending solutions
- System drain downs and refills
- Pump and valve replacements
- Plate heat exchanger servicing
- Working within energy centres, plant rooms and building distribution systems
- Following safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on HIUs (planned maintenance and breakdowns)
- Full UK driving licence
- Clear DBS
- Based within commuting distance of Central London
- Right to work in the UK
