Location: London (Mobile Role – 90% of works across all London postcodes)

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and professional Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join a growing maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering mainly schools and light commercial sites across London. The successful candidate will be experienced, reliable, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while working independently in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic gas boiler breakdowns, fault finding, and parts replacement
  • Gas safety inspections and certification
  • Domestic boiler installations and full boiler swaps
  • Installation of cylinders, pipework, pumps, and valves
  • Power flushing of heating systems
  • Domestic heating and hot water wiring
  • Y-Plan and S-Plan systems
  • Hive and smart control conversions
  • Confident working within commercial plant rooms when required
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer care
  • Accurate completion of job reports using PDA/mobile systems

Essential Requirements:

  • Gas Safe Registered – Domestic
  • Strong experience in domestic heating and plumbing
  • Good working knowledge of commercial plant rooms
  • Competent with pumps, valves, and system upgrades
  • Clean DBS check (essential – work carried out in schools)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable driving and working across London
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
