Role Overview
The Digital Building Engineer will play a key role in delivering smart building and digital estate solutions across technically complex environments. The role sits at the intersection of OT, IT, and building services, supporting data-driven, integrated building performance across flagship projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support digital building and smart infrastructure solutions.
- Integrate building systems such as BMS, lighting, energy, IoT, sensors, and data platforms.
- Work collaboratively with AV, controls, IT, and construction teams to deliver fully integrated systems.
- Support commissioning, testing, validation, and handover of digital building systems.
- Assist with system optimisation, analytics, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Produce technical documentation, specifications, asset data, and handover packs.
- Support troubleshooting and fault resolution within live operational environments.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience working in digital buildings, smart infrastructure, or building systems integration.
- Strong understanding of BMS, OT systems, IoT, and building data platforms.
- Knowledge of IP networking, system interoperability, and integration protocols.
- Comfortable operating across multi-system, technically complex environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking capability.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Building Services, IT, or a related field.
- Experience delivering digital estate or high-value commercial projects preferred.
