My Client are a mechanical engineering company who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients. They seek 2 Mobile Mechanical Engineers to carry out services, maintenance and repair predominantly to their contracts across Surrey and Merton.
Contracts include: Civic Buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, Libraries, Community Centres, Fire Stations, Schools and Offices.
Your role will be to work on a van mobile basis across Merton & Surrey carrying out the following works in commercial plant rooms:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
- Actuators, expansion vessels, hot and cold water systems, strainers, pumps
- General commercial plumbing repair
- Responding to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance issues
Qualifications desired:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a Mechanical discipline such as Plumbing and Heating
- UHWSS or G3 Qualified
- Commercial plant room and domestic experience
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Full Clean Driving License
- Must pass an enhanced DBS background check
- Must live within a reasonable distance of Surrey area (working mainly in Surrey, North Hampshire, Berkshire and North Sussex at times, and Merton rarely)
Package on offer:
- Β£40-46k dependant on experience and qualifications held
- 40 hour week Monday to Friday
- Travel time paid after 30 minutes given each way
- Fully expensed company van, fuel card and expenses
- Call out rota 1 in 7 weeks with a Β£200 retainer
- Pension, 20 days holiday and plenty of overtime available
