About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor in the foodservice and retail sector, operating as part of a growing UK division. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market‑leading, award‑winning business delivering high‑quality refrigeration services to blue‑chip clients across hospitality, foodservice, and food retail environments. You'll be working across a regional patch in the CB, IP, NR, SG & CO postcodes, carrying out installation, service, and maintenance work on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
- Provide clear communication to clients on work carried out and recommendations
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Participate in the on‑call rota as required
What We're Looking For
- Valid F‑Gas Certification (essential)
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration (10+ years preferred)
- Background working in restaurants, hospitality, or food retail environments
- Strong knowledge of chilled and frozen commercial systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable, and able to perform under pressure
- Must be based within CB, IP, NR, SG & CO postcode areas
