Static Electrical Maintenance engineer – Royal Woolwich Arsenal (company van also provided) £43/45k – APPLY TODAY
My client are a mechanical and electrical engineering company who have been in operation for over 35 years providing M&E solutions to their end clients.
They now seek a static electrically biased engineer to be based at Royal Arsenal Woolwich Development.
The development is a large mixed used development where my clients look after the communal areas and plant rooms only.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs and installation works.
- Carry out PPM testing on fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lighting, as well as working alongside mechanical and AC engineers.
- Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repairs of electrical equipment and AOVs.
- Be familiar with using job sheet software on a mobile device.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communicate regularly with estate managers and residents.
- Will be expected to carry out inspection & testing experience if applicable.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 electrical installation qualifications or equivalent.
- Mechanical plant room experience required.
- Experience in maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repairs of electrical equipment and AOVs.
- Experience with PPM testing on fire alarms, AOVs, emergency lighting.
- Own hand tools and voltage meter; any specialised equipment will be provided.
- Clean driving licence advantageous.
Role details
- Salary £42k – £45k depending on experience
- Working hours 8am – 4pm
- Van (Ford Transit Connect or similar) with fuel card
- Works vehicle available for personal use within reason
- 24 days holiday excluding bank holidays
- Mobile phone
- Call out rota is currently approximately once every 10 weeks
