We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways project in Newton Abbot on a contract basis. This is a long-term opportunity on a well-established scheme, suitable for a proactive engineer with solid highways and civils experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, earthworks and pavement construction
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built drawings
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
- Working closely with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team
- Ensuring all works comply with current health & safety standards
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering / highways projects
- Civil Engineering qualification
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office and Trimble
- Strong understanding of health & safety policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritise time-critical work
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Relevant CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
