I am currently representing a well-established automation and security company who carry out commercial work across London. Due to growth, they are looking to add a Security Engineer to the team, covering service, installation and commissioning works.

Salary package:

  • £37,000 - £44,000
  • Performance bonus

Duties:

  • Installing and commissioning security systems including access control, CCTV and related electronic security equipment.
  • Working on systems such as TDSI, Paxton NET2 & 10, STID, Axis and Hikvision CCTV.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service visits, fault finding and remedial works.
  • Completing installation and commissioning documentation accurately and handing over systems to clients.
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of IP networks, network infrastructure, IP addressing, subnets and VLANs.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, site teams and IT departments to coordinate successful service, installation and commissioning works.
  • Reading and understanding site drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Maintaining excellent communication, professionalism, time management and organisational standards while working across multiple sites.
  • Clear track record within security installation and commissioning.
