£45,000 – £60,000 + Benefits package

About the role

This temporary works specialist company based on the outskirts of Manchester is seeking to employ a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The projects are complex and include both above and below ground support schemes.

As well as leading the design on the projects you will be managing the more junior members of the team as well as supporting the Associates in their endeavours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of projects, including facade retention, needling and propping, larger basement propping, plan bracing and crash decks.
• Manage junior team members and support associates in their work.

Qualifications & skills

• Good understanding of temporary works project types.
• Confidence to apply engineering judgement and influence design and delivery.
• Proficiency in embedded retaining wall design and use of a range of design software.
