We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our growing engineering division. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mobile engineer with strong experience across air conditioning, chillers, and HVAC systems. The role will suit someone who is technically strong, self‑motivated, and confident working independently across a range of commercial sites.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of HVAC and cooling equipment across commercial client sites.
  • The position will also involve installation work, as the business continues to grow its in‑house projects division and reduce reliance on subcontractors.

  • Air conditioning systems
  • Chillers
  • VRV / VRF systems
  • Split and multi‑split systems
  • AHUs and associated HVAC plant
  • Controls and electrical fault finding (desirable)

Installation Experience

  • Single split systems
  • Multi‑split systems
  • VRV / VRF installations
  • Pipework and control systems

Candidate Requirements

  • Fully qualified Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer
  • Proven experience within commercial AC and chiller environments
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
  • Installation experience essential
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Professional and customer‑focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Location & Coverage

This is a mobile role covering commercial sites primarily across the North and Midlands. Most work is concentrated along the M62 corridor, including: Greater Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Midlands and surrounding areas. Engineers are generally kept within reasonable travelling distance where possible. Ideal locations: Greater Manchester.
