An established main contractor with over 50 years of trading history. They employ approximately 280 people and turn over around £100 million annually. Their current focus is on commercial, industrial and life sciences new build projects, primarily across London. Project values typically range between £5 million and £15 million, with larger schemes also forming part of their portfolio.
The Quantity Surveyor will be split between office and site, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial. You will be managing multiple projects at one time across London. Projects valued at £15 million and above will typically have two QS professionals assigned, while projects under £15 million are usually managed by one QS. You will be responsible for commercial management from procurement through to final account, handling subcontractor packages, cost reporting and client valuations. This role offers exposure to multiple schemes simultaneously and would suit someone comfortable in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
