Our client is a well‑established building services and facilities management contractor delivering maintenance, installation and repair services across commercial and residential properties. The company works across a range of sites including offices, residential buildings and mixed‑use developments, providing planned maintenance and reactive repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Domestic Plumber to join a growing team of engineers. The role will involve carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs and installations across a variety of commercial and residential sites. The successful candidate will be confident working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Duties:

  • Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Completing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems
  • Installing and repairing hot and cold water systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving plumbing faults efficiently
  • Completing 1st and 2nd fix plumbing works
  • Working on systems including pipework, sanitaryware, valves, pumps and drainage
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
  • Accurately completing service reports and job documentation
  • Liaising with site managers, clients and other engineers when required
  • Providing a professional and reliable service to clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a commercial and/or domestic plumber
  • Experience with maintenance and installation work
  • Good fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and pipework
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence

Package:

  • Salary: £45,000
  • Company van
  • Fuel card
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Full time - Monday to Friday
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Tools / uniform provided
