My client is looking for a Handyman / Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding company. The engineer will be working on commercial sites such as Retail Shops, Bakeries & Gyms. They offer nationwide coverage to their customers but do have engineers based across the UK; however, some working and staying away will be necessary as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Door repairs & locks
- Basic plumbing
- Re-lamping
- Water drains maintenance
- Fixing drawers
- Carpentry
- Emergency light testing
- Fire alarm testing
- Small installations
- Painting & decorating
It is expected that the Handyman / Maintenance Engineer will have proven experience within the maintenance industry.
Position Requirements:
- Live within the London / M25 orbital region and happy travelling with occasional working away from home.
- Full clean driving licence
- Any recognised trade qualifications are a bonus but not a must.
Package:
- £38 - 40K - depending on experience
- 40 hour working week
- Company pension scheme after 3 months
- Plenty of overtime available
- Company van & fuel card - all parking etc paid for
- Accommodation and meal allowances for staying away
- Uniform and specialist tools
- 20 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday
