Air Conditioning Engineer – London – 40 – 50K

Location: Mobile – Ideal Engineer being based in London – Covering Central & Greater London.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a rapidly growing FM provider offering a full range of services and have a new opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their maintenance and reactive division.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to take on a mobile role covering a well-organised London patch. You\\\’ll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and minor installations on a range of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial office space, retail, hospitality, and light commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain a variety of air conditioning systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, multi-split, AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
Fault-finding and diagnostics
Occasional minor installation works
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health & safety and compliance standards
Keep accurate records using PDA and company systems
Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota

What We\’re Looking For

Proven experience in commercial air conditioning maintenance and repair
Valid F-Gas qualification – essential
Relevant AC qualifications and manufacturer training – advantageous
Basic electrical knowledge
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Package

£40,000 – £50,000 basic (depending on experience and skill level)
Your total weekly hours are calculated on a door-to-door basis minus one hour each day for travel. Should your weekly hours exceed 50 hours (door-to-door) any additional hours worked will be paid at 1.5 of your normal hourly rate
Paid travel beyond 1 hour at 1.5x rate
Flexible early finish – paid full day if the job is done early and cleared with the office
Regular overtime opportunities paid at enhanced rates

1 in 4 call out – 3 hours minimum, D2D travel pay & bonuses for first time fix
