Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and technically strong Mechanical Static Engineer for a prestigious, high-end residential site in East Central London. You’ll be working as part of a small 2-man engineering team, delivering all aspects of mechanical maintenance and support. This is a static role where building trust with the client is key. We empower our engineers to manage their day-to-day schedules based on site needs and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance (pumps, valves, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Monitor and maintain mechanical plant equipment and BMS systems
- Liaise with residents/property managers professionally and promptly
- Produce clear and accurate reports using tablets/PCs (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Provide feedback on potential improvements or necessary repairs
- Support safe systems of work and maintain health and safety standards
Requirements
- Strong mechanical background with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.)
- Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, and tablet-based reporting)
- Experience working in residential property or similar environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude with flexibility around working practice
