This temporary works specialist company based on the outskirts of Manchester are seeking to employ a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The projects are complex and include both above and below ground support schemes.
As well as leading the design on the projects, you will be managing the more junior members of the team as well as supporting the Associates in their endeavours.
The projects that you will be working on will include facade retention, needling and propping, larger basement propping, plan bracing and crash decks.
They are seeking an engineer who has a good understanding of these project types with the confidence to apply your engineering judgement to projects and influence the design and delivery. You will have a thorough understanding of embedded retaining wall design and be comfortable using a range of design software.
