Would you like to work for one of the leading structural engineering design consultancies in London? Our client has a wide range of interesting and challenging new build and retrofit building projects on buildings up to 15 storeys. They work in diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, leisure, healthcare and retail.
You will be given the opportunity to design in all materials including RC, steel, masonry, timber, etc. They offer a hybrid working pattern and flexible start and finish times. They also have the latest CAD and design software and good support and training from senior and chartered engineers.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who has ideally at least 2 years design experience gained within a design consultancy environment.
- Preparing structural design calculations using various design softwares
- FEA analysis and modelling
- Designing in RC, steel, masonry, timber and other materials
- Collaborating with architects, other design disciplines and building contractors on design and construction of projects
- Doing engineering drawings and managing output from CAD technicians
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
