This architecturally driven, independently owned design studio is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join their team. They offer a generous package, with flexible working, fully supported career development and the opportunity to work on, develop and lead some outstanding building structures projects in London alongside the Director.
You will act as the lead consultant on projects providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team as well as ensuring that the C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
To be considered you will have a desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of structural engineering design on existing structures and mentor junior staff. It is essential you have a real passion for architecture and excellent project delivery. An interest in heritage and conservation projects would also be of great interest.
You will be able to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures and be able to manage the preparation of such calculations and be happy to develop them yourself on occasion. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and the ability to communicate this to colleagues.
You will be comfortable representing the company at both internal and external meetings.
