Job Purpose
This is a key role within the Service Delivery and Operations Team, responsible for delivering high‑quality maintenance and repair services across client sites. The role supports effective service delivery by responding to client and operational requirements in a professional, safe, and customer‑focused manner. The role will require attendance at multiple sites in differing locations as directed by the Service Desk Coordinators to meet operational commitments and contractual obligations.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Perform regular safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose faults effectively and implement appropriate solutions to minimise operational disruption. Ensure continuous operation of electrical systems across all client sites.
- Customer Service & Reporting: Maintain professional standards of conduct when interacting with clients and stakeholders. Complete accurate job reports via mobile device after every visit. Participate in out‑of‑hours or emergency response arrangements where required.
Qualifications
Essential
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Minimum three years' proven experience in a similar role.
Desirable
- Certification in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
- Additional training in high‑voltage systems or renewable energy technologies.
