We are representing a nationwide fire & security company that carries out the full fire & security services from design, install to maintenance across the South East. They are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer to join their growing team.
Salary Package:
- £40,000 - £45,000
- Travel time paid after a hour each way is given
- 20 days holidays (opportunity to buy 5 extra days)

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire and smoke dampers in accordance with: BS 9999, BS 9991, BS EN 1366-2, BS EN 15650, ASFP and local authority requirements.
- Carry out periodic fire damper drop tests and visual inspections.
- Identify non-compliant, damaged, or inaccessible dampers and record deficiencies.
- Perform minor remedial works, including:
- Replacement of fire dampers and smoke dampers
- Installation of access panels
- Repair or replacement of fusible links, actuators, and blades
