A Civil Design Engineer – Highways & Drainage position in Leeds with a salary of £37,000 – £44,000 + Benefits at a leading UK Civil & Structural Consultancy.
The Role
You’ll be joining a well-established civil engineering team delivering infrastructure design from concept through to detailed stages. Typical responsibilities include:
- Designing highways, junctions, access roads and public realm layouts
- Delivering drainage designs, including SuDS, foul and surface water systems
- Preparing designs for Section 278, 38, 104 and 106 submissions
- Working with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and related software
- Producing drawings, reports, specifications and technical calculations
- Supporting senior engineers and liaising directly with clients, architects and local authorities
- Contributing to project planning, design review meetings and technical approvals

- Experience producing drawings and technical documentation
- Enthusiasm for progression and chartership development
