They are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their expanding Building Services Engineering team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects, develop design and project management experience, and grow within a supportive and well-structured team environment. About the Company The consultancy has over 40 years of experience delivering engineering solutions across multiple sectors, including commercial, industrial, residential, retail, education and now, data centre. Their multi-disciplinary teams provide strategic advice, engineering design, and project delivery for new build, extension, and refurbishment projects. The London office is part of a growing network led by an experienced and well-regarded director who is expanding the team, developing new client relationships, and creating clear progression pathways for engineers at all levels. Current Projects The team is currently engaged in a large-scale data centre overseas and a £100 million commercial development in England, alongside projects across the automotive, manufacturing, and education sectors. The Role As Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of small to medium-scale projects under the guidance of senior team members. Key responsibilities include: Completing surveys, inspections, and design calculations Producing drawings, specifications, and technical reports Supporting electrical design delivery from concept through to completion Coordinating with mechanical and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project outcomes Participating in meetings with clients, contractors, and design teams Managing your own workload effectively and contributing to overall project delivery You will gain exposure across a range of electrical systems, including HV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire detection, security systems, lightning protection, and data infrastructure.
