An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced fire safety professional to lead and develop a growing Fire Risk Management division within a rapidly expanding fire engineering and consultancy business. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong technical background in fire risk assessment and remediation, combined with proven leadership and commercial management experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the team, supporting business growth, developing client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence. The position is primarily home-based, with occasional travel required to support clients, projects, team development and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Fire Risk Management team, providing technical guidance, mentoring and support
- Deliver and oversee complex fire risk assessments across a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings
- Undertake and review Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 Fire Risk Assessments
- Evaluate compartmentation strategies and identify remediation requirements
- Develop and oversee fire stopping programmes and remediation projects
- Carry out external wall assessments and surveys where required
- Produce and implement fire risk management plans and compliance strategies
