We're recruiting for a Gas Bias Operations Supervisor to join a leading building services provider, supporting the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance across a mobile engineering team. This is an ideal step-up role for a senior engineer (gas/heating or plant room background) moving into management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day service desk operations, managing 4 coordinators
- Support and supervise mobile engineers, driving performance and efficiency
- Manage WIP, job allocation, and service delivery
- Handle client communication, escalations, and service updates
- Produce quotations, RAMS, and technical support
- Monitor engineer performance and champion “fix first time” approach
- Ensure compliance with H&S and service standards
What We're Looking For
- Background in building services / HVAC / gas (domestic or commercial / HIU)
- Strong knowledge of plant rooms and maintenance operations
- Experience coordinating engineers or working within a service desk environment
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ambition to progress into Operations / Service Management
