Senior Structural Engineer - Building Structures

This nationwide Building Structures Engineering consultancy are seeking a Principal level Structural Engineer to join their team. They offer a generous package, fully supported career development and the opportunity to work on, develop and lead some outstanding building structures projects in London.

You will act as the lead consultant on projects providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team as well as ensuring that the C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.

To be considered you will have a desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and mentor junior staff. Experienced developing Structural/Civil Engineering designs for projects through various project stages autonomously you will be comfortable developing engineering concepts and communicating them to clients, architects and staff in meetings.

You will be able to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures and be able to manage the preparation of such calculations by junior staff. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and the ability to communicate this effectively.
