I am currently representing a well-established fire specialist company, who carry out a variety of services from design, installation and maintenance to several clients across central London. Due to sheer growth, they are now seeking a fire alarm contract manager to add to the team.

Salary package: £45,000 - £60,000
Car Allowance - £475 Per Month
Hybrid Working
25 days of holidays

Area of cover: London

Carrying out the following:

  • Managing multiple fire alarm and life safety projects across the business, with values ranging from £20k to £7M, ensuring delivery in line with contractual requirements, programme, and budget.
  • Overseeing the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract award through to final account and handover, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Contributing to the design development and planning stages, working collaboratively with designers, engineers, and compliance teams to ensure systems meet relevant British Standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the contractual aspects of projects, including scope definition, change control, variations, risk management, and commercial reporting.
  • Providing estimation support, with the ability to review, understand, and approve quotations, cost plans, and tender documentation to ensure accuracy, commercial viability, and alignment with project scope.
  • Supporting tender and bid submissions, offering technical and commercial input, programme assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance with agreed terms.
  • Monitoring project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and final account settlement.
  • Ensuring health & safety and quality compliance across all projects, in line with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Driving client satisfaction through clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Estimator experience
  • Knowledge of current British standards
  • Fire detection and other equipment experience
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office
