An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Project Manager to join a prominent construction main contractor on a permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee a new and unique project, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.

To qualify, prior experience with principal contractors and successfully managing large commercial projects from cradle to grave is a must.

The Role

  • You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams on this unique project, making sure work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the expected quality standards.
  • Driving a strong safety culture from the outset.
  • Setting up processes and site systems.
  • Coordinating pre-construction planning and ensuring design information arrives when needed.
  • Monitoring progress and resolving issues before they affect delivery.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain and your internal teams.
  • Managing finances, valuations and cash flow.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance.
  • Supporting, developing and managing staff performance.

About You

Someone ambitious, confident in leading site teams, and comfortable taking ownership of large projects. You might already be running schemes independently, or you may be a solid PM ready to step up. A construction qualification and valid site tickets are included.
