My client are a leading design-and-build electrical contractor operating across Essex and London. Specialising in delivering tailored, high quality electrical systems for commercial, hospitality, and refurbishment projects. With offices in Essex and Central London, their team is driven by technical excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction. They have successfully completed projects such as CAT A / CAT B fit-outs, large scale refurbishments and bespoke installations for clients across a variety of sectors, ranging from £5k – £3m. Due to growth, they are now seeking an Electrical Estimator with Design & Build experience, to be based out of either their Essex or London Office. THE ROLE – Electrical Estimator Working Hours: Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm You will be working on a variety of projects ranging from £500 – £3,000,000. With the majority falling between £100k – £800k. Duties Review all tender information including technical drawings Carry out base electrical design to enable quote to be produced Be directly involved in tender negotiations Attend design meetings in relation to tenders Carry out site surveys to gather information Setting up quote folders and saving all documentation into the folder Produce estimates and costs plans for multiple projects Handover of successful tender information to the project team in such a manner that they are fully briefed on the scope of works Identify any potential risks and opportunities to the company The Candidate Candidate must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft office.
