Ductwork Mate

My client are an Essex based Building Services Company who have been operating for over 20 years. They now employ over 30 staff (with a team of 8 plumbers) and turnover £7mil a year. Due to a significant amount of work starting in the New Year, they are seeking a Ductwork Mate to join their team. THE JOB – DUCTWORK MATE Monday – Friday / 8am – 4pm (30 min paid lunch) You will be working across their portfolio of Commercial Office Fit Out Projects in London. Key Responsibilities: Installation of Ductwork: Accurately install and assemble ductwork systems, including sheet metal ducts, flexible ducts, and insulated ducts, according to design specifications and project requirements. System Layout: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute ductwork layout and installation. Cutting and Fitting: Cut, bend, and fit ducts and accessories to precise measurements, ensuring a secure and leak-proof installation. Support and Hangers: Install necessary supports, hangers, brackets, and anchors to secure ducts safely to the building structure. Testing and Adjustments: Perform necessary tests on the installed ductwork for airflow and pressure and adjust as needed to ensure system efficiency.
