About the Company

Our client is a well-established, privately owned M&E services company with offices in Manchester and London, and a successful 30-year track record. With a turnover of £10 million and a team of over 40 engineers, including a dedicated group of AC Engineers, the business is growing and now looking to expand its London team. They are now looking to strategically employ engineers in the following locations due to new contract wins: Midlands, Northwest (Manchester), Yorkshire (Leeds).

The Role

This is a mobile AC Engineer role, providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support across a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout the northwest. You will work with a wide range of HVAC and mechanical plant equipment, focusing primarily on Air conditioning systems.

The Package

  • £42/44k Basic Salary
  • Door-to-door travel
  • VW Transporter van (personal use, private mileage chargeable)
  • Overtime: Saturday - time and a half; Sunday / Bank Holidays - double time
  • Call out: 1 in 9 rotas (this will be changing as I will need more cover so may go to 1 in 6)
  • £100 standby
  • Minimum 4 hours paid (door-to-door or on-site, whichever is greater)
  • Travel paid at single time, with any hours over 40 (Mon-Fri) paid at time and a half
  • 25 days holiday + stats + birthday day
  • Healthcare after probation
  • Salary sacrifice pension
  • Annual pay review
  • Fully equipped van (tools, analyser, steps, etc.)
